Moping and Missing Friends
The nor'easter puts the kibosh on plans for the party at Elena's. I was so looking forward to seeing everybody tonight! I am now going to sulk and watch sad movies... once I finish grading. Bleh.
I do hope it is the original and not that terrible remake. We have no snow at all. After midnight it is possible we may get 1-2". Apparently it's too dry and the snow is evaporating before it hits the ground. I turned on the humidifier; it was really dry.
LOL! Well, I'm on to Black Books now and the wonderful Bernard Black (Dylan Moran), so it's recovery from crying over Persuasion (2007 version), which is making me laugh of course.
Well, guess what! We awoke (in Connecticut) this morning to a foot and a half of snow! Piled at our front door! And just so you know we are not exaggerating, we measured it and took pictures.
Don't worry. We're planning something for New Year's. Weather providing, of course...

Well, that's the spirit! We're going to watch 'Bedazzled' and also mope about two cancelled parties today....we'd better get 5 feet of snow.

Sad movies? I think not! The grading will depress you enough, my darling.
No, you must watch eye candy or A Fish Called Wanda.

And no, it has not snowed even the littlest bit.

I would never doubt you, Cranky. But we got no snow -- not a sausage. I guess we'll see what New Year's Eve brings.
