Waiting for the End of the World


Feel free to sing along as we perish -- or not. On the plus side, it would save a lot of paperwork; on the other hand, I know I have a lot of things to do yet.

Assuming you weren't Assumed, you could still be doing paperwork and More Fun Stuff, just with more tribulations atop.

It's true I'd have little chance of getting into a Christian heaven. Doubtless my hell would be full of paperwork and machines that don't work and carefully detailed tasks that demand patience and repetition.

"...but not yet!" There's always time, apparently, in certain faiths...meanwhile, your Tribulations/Hell-on-Earth would also be full of the personas I briefly assume in the Chicken post third comment...or so I suspect.

Oh, everyone tries my patience lately. I was a bit agog at the student who showed up today, a week late for the three week course.
