Spooky and stylish and sexy. Well, Claire Bloom is!
Indeed -- those faboo Mary Quant ensembles add the crowning touch.
And I was very pleased that at least one of the students immediately picked up on the coding of her character as lesbian. The knowing chuckles of the audience who gets it -- always good.
Kind of hard to miss. The insanely bad remake baldly states that she's a lesbian, but never quite convinces (the audience of anything).
