After looking at Gerry's video, I was curious to see what new kantele-themed clips might have been added lately and found this great video of some Finnish school kids playing Lordi's "Hard Rock Hallelujah" on kanteles. Lordi might just consider using new instruments.
They can be like Amorphis, the heavy metal band who did an acoustic version of the folk song, "My Kantele."
I don't know why I thought this...but I imagined the words "My Kantele" to the tune of "My Sharona" and subseuquently surprised to find something completely different.
