Thanks to everyone for all their kind comments and sympathy. Special thanks to Stephanie and Zoe for their sweet card and flan (which is great comfort food). It's so hard to say good-bye to a little friend who has been part of your life for so many years, from the time she was a tiny foundling in Boston (she never did get all that big). Kipper is working hard to keep us entertained and we have wonderful memories of all the years with feisty little Maggie Moo.
