Snow Day

An official snow day: a rarity! It's eerily quiet around here. The only birds to be seen are the crows. The usually-busy street below my eyrie has only the occasional car. The drummer downstairs, however, is home. It was snowing quite hard yesterday morning as I walked to campus. During the short walk, here's how much snow accumulated:
Crazy, huh? And it continues to fall. Well, I plan to use the day to get some writing done of course! So go entertain yourself. What, you're bored? Well, I'll read for you for a little while, but then you'll have to find someone else with whom to while away your day. If you need something to do, start planning your submission to The Journal of the Women's League of Ale Drinkers.  All right, then?

Staying in today! I would send you some pumpkin bread via sherpa, if I had a sherpa. Maggie would probably get lost...or eat the pumpkin bread.

I think I am gonna bag on MAGUS (did not hear back from you on any definite plan, or did I miss that email?); turns out Todd works tomorrow, not Friday...and I am feeling poor after a week in Beantown.

Oh pooh! Yes, on for Friday (assuming the weather has calmed down by then) for MAGUS. Pooh on the pumpkin bread, too -- I shall have to rely on my own cooking and we all know how sad that is.

And don't forget FELA! is this Sunday and Monday.

To paraphrase Jules Feiffer, There are other Todds in the world.

What's FELA? And why/how are you in Forbidden Planet?

Other Todds? Really O.o

FELA! is a musical that the National Theatre is beaming to the wider world; in Albany it's this Sunday and Monday.

Not Forbidden Planet nor even my fave magus today, Mr. Moore, but a much older one: Doctor Dee as portrayed in a play.
