A Gift from Lapland
A little present I got for myself; I have always loved these drums, but I never imagined I could get one. Ain't the internet great? Thanks to Michelle (the seller) and Irene (the Sámi artisan) I have a beautiful drum with designs I had a hand in choosing. Very exciting!

Thanks, Marja-Leena! You can get one -- I finally remembered to add a link to Michelle's name, so feel free to contact her. I also bought a necklace from her with a drum design, which is what led to asking for a custom drum. She is very flexible and works with the artisans closely -- plus she's really sweet and friendly.
