Yes, there is one small elevator in the building where I teach, at the opposite end. So I had to hobble down to the far end, up the longest ramp, in through a tiny door with no handicap button, and then hop all the way back to the other end of the building (this is two buildings that have been joined together). It was easier to take the stairs.

I have *no* upper arm strength! My shoulders were so stiff yesterday from using the crutches.C. My shoulders are stiff from using the crutches all day yesterday (that's right, I have no upper arm strength!), so I'm really happy that I can use the boot without crutches.

You need more sympathetic friends, Chuck. Or um, fewer injuries...? ;-)C. Especially if I can work where four days for a diagnosis is fine. *grrr*

Well, I'm happy to see you're on the boot, and yes crutches are wretched, but man they'll make your healing process a lot quicker. At least people don't roll their eyes at you when you're on crutches, like they do with me. (And my friends wonder why I tend to downplay injuries as much as possible...)Chuckie58https://www.blogger.com/profile/04091560045834850119noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8944798.post-65375161252197730142008-09-11T13:17:00.000-04:002008-09-11T13:17:00.000-04:00Better a boot on your foot than on your car tire.....Better a boot on your foot than on your car tire...

Get better soon and milk the sympathy for all it's worth!
:-)CLhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18348533141508294220noreply@blogger.com
