Happy Halloween!
It's so lovely to be back in the Northeast for Halloween -- hearing the leaves crunch under your feet, seeing the smoky colors of fall, feeling the crisp cold in the air. Why not read a little passage from Ray Bradbury's The October Country?

ReplyDeleteBut if I had to pick a truly scary story for Halloween, it would be "Sticks" by Karl Edward Wagner.
This story scared the bejeezus out of me when I first read it. When Blair Witch came out, I immediately said, "Hey! It's just like Sticks!" And apparently, other people said the same thing!
